Handmade Gifts by Occasion
Handmade in Narsapuram
Gifts made by hand, after you order.
Every gift here is crocheted in cotton thread by women artisans in Narsapuram, Andhra Pradesh — a GI-tagged lace tradition more than a century old. Nothing is mass-produced and nothing sits in a warehouse. You order, and then it is made.
By occasion
What are you marking?
Start with the moment rather than the product. Each of these is a small, edited selection — not a catalogue to wade through.
Birthday Gifts
Everyone sends the cake. This is the part she still has next year.
Anniversary Gifts
Cotton is the traditional second-anniversary gift. Ours is the actual material, not the metaphor.
Housewarming & Griha Pravesh
A new house is mostly boxes and echo. This is the first handmade thing in it.
Wedding & Return Gifts
Most return gifts get left on the chair. A small crocheted pouch does not.
Farewell & Thank You
The card goes round the office and comes back with forty signatures. This is what you attach it to.
Congratulations
Flowers say the wrong thing to a colleague, and die by Friday.
Baby Shower & Godh Bharai
Everybody buys for the baby. Almost nobody buys for the woman doing the work.
Karwa Chauth
For everyone buying for a saas, a bhabhi or a friend rather than buying gold.
Mother's Day
She says she doesn't want anything. She means don't spend money on me.
Valentine's
Fresh roses are a beautiful way of saying this will be over by Thursday.
Handmade Crochet Rakhi
Cotton rakhis worked by hand, for the thread that is supposed to last.
Diwali — 8 November 2026
Hampers for teams and clients, from 50 pieces, in your brand colours.
By recipient and budget
Or start from who it is for.

Hindu festival dates follow the lunar calendar and shift each year, so we have given the month where the date is not yet fixed. Ask us and we will confirm the exact cut-off for your order.
How it is made and how it ships
Nothing here exists until you order it
Crochet lace arrived on the Andhra coast well over a century ago and never left. It is worked at home, between other work, mostly by women, in fine cotton thread on a small steel hook — and it carries a Geographical Indication tag, the same protection given to Kanchipuram silk and Darjeeling tea.
When your order comes in, it goes to an artisan in Narsapuram and is made from scratch. That takes five to seven working days before it ships, and it is the reason two pieces are never quite identical. Every listing gives the finished size in centimetres, because a photograph cannot. Orders are packed in recycled kraft, prepaid at checkout, and shipped across India — free above ₹1,199.
Questions
Before you order
How long will it take to arrive?
Five to seven working days to make, then shipping time to your city. We do not offer same-day or next-day delivery, and we would rather say so than promise it — nothing here is sitting on a shelf waiting to be picked. If you have a date to hit, tell us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether it is possible.
Can I include a message?
Yes. Add it at checkout and it goes in handwritten on a card, not printed on a slip.
Why is there no cash on delivery?
Because each piece is made for one order. If it is refused at the door there is nothing to put back into stock. Prepaid only, by card, UPI or net banking.
Will it look exactly like the photograph?
Very close, but not identical. Cotton is dyed in batches and every piece is worked by a different pair of hands, so shade and texture vary slightly. That is what handmade looks like. The finished size is in every product title so there are no surprises on scale.
How do I care for it?
Hand wash cold with a mild detergent, do not wring, and dry flat in shade. Cotton crochet holds its shape for years if it is not hung wet.
Can I order for a whole company, wedding or event?
Yes, from 50 pieces, with your branding on the packaging and a GST invoice. Bulk orders are quoted rather than bought off the site — see Bulk & Corporate Gifting.
Gifting for a team
Fifty pieces or five thousand.
Handmade crochet hampers for employees, clients and events — in your brand colours, with a co-branded card, delivered to one address or many. Nothing edible, so there is no allergy list to check.
