Product Description

A brushed cotton fleece zip hoodie with a run of hand-crocheted granny squares down the outside of each sleeve, from shoulder to cuff. The squares are worked separately, one at a time, then joined into a strip and set into the sleeve seam — so the crochet is part of the garment, not appliquéd on top of it.

Each square is made by hand in Narsapuram, Andhra Pradesh, where the crochet lace tradition carries a GI tag and the craft was recognised on Mann Ki Baat in December 2025. A single sleeve strip takes a full working day. The colours inside the squares change from one colourway to the next — the Charcoal and Cobalt run on a stonewashed body, so no two pieces fade quite alike.

  • Brushed cotton fleece body, ribbed hem and cuffs, lined hood with drawcord
  • Full-length metal zip, twin side pockets
  • Hand-crocheted granny square panel on both outer sleeves
  • Cobalt and Charcoal are garment-washed for a faded, lived-in finish
  • Care: machine wash cold on gentle, inside out. Do not bleach. Dry flat in shade. Warm iron, avoiding the crochet panels.

Fit

Relaxed. Sits at the hip with a lightly dropped shoulder and a full sleeve. Between two sizes, take the smaller for a closer fit.
